Tour Operators' Initiative for Sustainable Tourism Development
A voluntary non-profit initiative, open to all tour operators, regardless of their size and geographical location. The Tour Operators Initiative is designed to help tour operators share information and develop skills that can lead to significant economic and environmental benefits. This initiative is supported by the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Scientific, Cultural and Education Organization and the World Tourism Organization which are full members of the Initiative.

Tour Operators Need Reliable Information
Consumers increasingly expect tour operators not only to provide quality and value, but to help safeguard ecosystems and communities. See some very important statistics and obtain other information that is useful for tour operators.
